Hypnotherapy FAQ's in detail

can hypnosis make me do things against my will?

The simple answer is no. You can't be made to do anything you do not want to do whilst in hypnosis....

Perhaps the first image that springs to mind is of person on stage riding a chair backwards pretending to be in the Grand National. Now, what people want to do whilst under stage hypnosis is entirely up to them, and let me emphasise the word WANT !!!

I doubt very much that neither I nor the greatest hypnotist in the world can make you do something you do not want to do, so when you see people on stage pretending to be a chicken there’s an element of them that says “actually I’m more than happy to stand on stage in front of hundreds of people clucking like a chicken. Buck…. buck….buckAHHHH”.

At all times you will remain in control and perfectly awake. I cannot make you do something you do not want to do. When you make an appointment to see me, whether it's to lose weight or give up smoking etc, and if in your heart of hearts you don’t really want to it, chances are hypnotherapy will not work for you. If however, you're eager for change and want to achieve your goals then hypnotherapy is for you and there's no limit to what you can achievel.
