Hypnotherapy for Anxiety

Anxiety disorders are a common occurrence.  In fact, according to surveys one in four people are likely to suffer from an anxiety disorder at some stage of their life. 

Anxiety disorders should not be confused with stress. Stress is regarded as a normal response to the pressures of everyday life such as work deadlines or family commitments.  

Anxiety disorder is a loose term that covers several different types of common psychiatric disorder usually identified by; excessive worrying, uneasiness, apprehension and fear about future uncertainties based on either real or imagined events. 


The term anxiety covers four aspects of experiences an individual may encounter; physical symptoms, mental apprehension, tension and dissociation.

Anxiety disorders can make it difficult to cope with day to day living but hypnotherapy can help!

I believe that the most effective way to cure anxiety disorders permanently is to address what’s causing them, after all there’s no point papering over cracks if we’re here for the duration. I will use a variety of hypnotherapy, hypnosis and NLP techniques aimed at getting to the root of the problem with the added bonus of achieving wonderfully deep levels of relaxation.
